The event was co-organized by the National Committee for the Advancement of Vietnamese Women and several non-governmental organizations. Directed by renowned musician Quoc Trung, it drew the participation of many Vietnamese singers.
Songs were used to convey the message of awakening women's potential, and their enthusiasm and desire to contribute to the development of the country. The event is part of a series that hopes to promote women’s participation in politics, which remains somewhat unfamiliar to a number of Vietnamese women.
