The Hanoi Department of Education and Training plans to allow students from grades 7 to 11 in all 30 districts and towns to return to school after the Lunar New Year holiday. As of January 11, about 99% of children aged 12 to 17 have received their first dose, and roughly 91% have had their second dose.

Meanwhile, students in Khanh Hoa province will attend in-person classes in the second semester of the 2021 – 2022 school year.

As for HCMC, parents of pre-school children aged 3-6 will be given the choice on whether or not they want to send their children back to school after the Lunar New Year.
