Politburo member Tran Cam Tu together with leaders of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, leaders of Lao Cai province presented Tet gifts to the inter-sectoral force at Kim Thanh border gate; policy beneficiary families, ethnic minority households in needy and workers living in difficult circumstances in the border district of Bat Xat.
In his speech, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, Politburo member Tran Cam Tu sent his warm regards to policy beneficiary families, needy households and workers and all people in Lao Cai.
He affirmed that taking care of the poor, policy beneficiary families, and disadvantaged groups in society is a major policy of the Party and State, especially for people in the highlands and ethnic minority areas.
He suggested the Party committees and authorities of Lao Cai province continue to pay more attention to and care for the vulnerable and disadvantaged people in the area so that everyone can have a warm Tet and no one is left behind.
On this occasion, Politburo Tran Cam Tu presented 10 gifts to households and ethnic minorities living in difficult circumstances in the border district of Bat Xat, Lao Cai province.
Representatives from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour also presented 100 gifts to workers and employees living in difficult circumstances while representatives from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee presented 200 gifts to poor households and 150 gifts to households affected by the COVID-19 epidemic.
