The two sides talked about implementing the Vietnam-EU Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) as well as ensuring UK trade and investment with Vietnam. Both sides will be celebrating this in Vietnam throughout 2018 with a strong focus on education, creativity and innovation. The aim is to bring together a wide range of people and talents and to celebrate the best of what the UK and Vietnam have to offer.
Earlier the same day Mark Field also chaired the 6th UK-Vietnam Strategic Dialogue with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son.
