Heavy rain in the northern and southern region has shown that the weather is becoming increasingly unstable, varying greatly in different areas. Meanwhile, the meteorology sector's facilities are still limited due to the lack of resources.
Recently, a number of localities have invested in purchasing new rainfall measuring equipment to become more active in responding to natural disasters.
At present, the number of rainfall measuring stations in Vietnam is still low compared to developed countries. This has caused a number of localities to install rainfall measuring systems themselves in order to improve theiir forecasting, warning and dealing with natural disasters.
