Minister of Health highly praises Health 24h program

Evening March 28^th, VTV24 News Center and VTVNews of Vietnam Television officially introduces the news bulletin system about health and medical on VTV1 and online website VTVNews.

The press conference with the participation of Minister of Health and other specialist departments.

Joining and speaking at the conference, Minister of Health – Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Tien – emphasizes that: In the last year, the Central Committee XII has passed 2 resolutions on reinforcing the task of protecting, nurturing and improving national health and population in the modern time. Communication and propaganda on healthcare are always deeply concerned by the Party, the State and the people.

The introduction of the health information system of Vietnam Television must meet the needs in the current situation; both the achievements as well as existing drawbacks and difficulties in the people’s healthcare services.

The Minister highly praises the meaningful messages brought by the Health 24h – “Your Health, Our Concern” – to hereby convey updated information and policies made by the Health Department to the people in remote areas, as well as to those who suffer from fatal illness or social stigma, etc., giving them the opportunities to access healthcare services.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Tien also stresses that the medical consultation on Online Hospital program needs to be highly accurate, especially the ability of the consultants to provide precise and practical medical information and advices to the people.
