As the capital of flowers in the southwestern region, the village provides tens of millions of flowers to the market. Flowers from Sa Dec go to many other localities such as Hanoi and Lang Son. To meet the demand, in 2018, Sa Dec added 42 hectares to the flower growing area to expand it to nearly 600 hectares. There was some rain at the end of the 2018 lunar year but it didn't affect the flowers too much. There are now more than 25 million flowers that are ready to be sold. Flower growers in Sa Đéc are sure to make a nice profit from them.
