Mexico and Vietnam strengthen co-operation
VTV.vn - Politburo Standing Committee Chairman Le Hong Anh received a delegation from Mexico’s Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) led by PRI Secretary of International Relations Javier Vega.

This is Vega's first visit to Vietnam, and marks the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries. He expressed Mexico's interest in strengthening economic, investment, tourism, education ties, and building on the friendship between the two parties and peoples.

Politburo Standing Committee Chairman Le Hong Anh also stressed that the Communist Party highly valued the friendship and cooperation with Latin American countries, including Mexico. He also hoped the two countries and parties would further co-operate in various fields.

Before meeting with Le Hong Anh, the Mexican delegation met with Chief of Party Central Office Tran Quoc Vuong to discuss the two countries' parties, as well as ways to boost the relationship between the two parties and countries.
