In Nghệ An province, on highway 48E, the route of Quỳnh Thắng commune, Quỳnh Lưu district, Nghĩa Bình, Nghĩa Hưng commune, and Nghĩa Đàn district have been inundated by nearly a half meter of water. The authority has placed warning signs to stop people from going through this route.
In Quế Phong district, about 20 meters of Highway 16 have collapsed. On Highway 48B, the route through Quỳnh Lưu district also has landslides at some points. In Hà Tĩnh province, Highway 8A has five serious landslide points.
