VTV.vn - Official lychees exports from Vietnam to China are enjoying high prices as the lychee season in China is ending, while the harvesting season in Vietnam only began ten days ago.

At Pingxiang, the biggest retail market in Guangdong, China, Vietnamese lychee is sold at nearly 4 US dollars per kilogramme. Two trucks carrying 32 tonnes of lychee have been seen at the gathering point of farm produce to pass Hữu Nghị border gate in Lạng Sơn Province. Owners of the trucks said all of their lychee goes through official channels and is packaged at facilities approved by China. The products are put in sponge boxes with traceability stamps.
