At Pingxiang, the biggest retail market in Guangdong, China, Vietnamese lychee is sold at nearly 4 US dollars per kilogramme. Two trucks carrying 32 tonnes of lychee have been seen at the gathering point of farm produce to pass Hữu Nghị border gate in Lạng Sơn Province. Owners of the trucks said all of their lychee goes through official channels and is packaged at facilities approved by China. The products are put in sponge boxes with traceability stamps.
