Each vessel brings back around 16-18 tonnes of fish and seafood, earning profits of 600-800 million dong. Some vessels can earn profits of 1 billion dong or 45 thousand USD. With strong collaboration between vessels in fishing and accident management at sea, fishermen have reaped great results from their traditional fishing grounds in the Spratly and Paracel islands.
