Director of the Long An Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Anh Dung said that from the beginning of 2022, Long An has implemented many solutions to restore and attract tourists to Long An, including promoting the development of eco-tourism in the Dong Thap Muoi region, waterway tourism on Vam Co Dong river, entertainment tourism, weekend tourism and community tourism.
Along with that, promoting the signing of comprehensive cooperation agreements with 20 universities, colleges and intermediate schools with specialized training in tourism within and outside the province to develop resources associated with training between theory and practice, meeting the requirements of tourism development in the context of international integration.
This signing also aimed to establish, use and effectively operate the guidelines, strengths and ability to meet the requirements of the tourism industry in Long An with universities, colleges and intermediate schools in the tourism industry, promoting Long An tourism to domestic and foreign students.
