Leonardo DiCaprio won SAG Awards

Winning over other nominees, including Eddie Redmayne (The Danish Girl), Leonardo DiCaprio achieved Best Actor at SAG Awards. Leo has received lots of accolades for his portrayal of Hugh Glass in The Revenant movie.

With the standing ovation from other guests, Leo shared: “Thank you for listening to an overly ambitious, slightly annoying 13-year-old kid who wanted to go on auditions every day after school, I wouldn’t be standing here without you.”

Leonardo DiCaprio is known as a self-challenging actor who delves himself into different roles with various transformations. His role in The Revenant leads to a higher level forcing him to meet new challenges: harsh weather, eating raw liver and living inside a horse’s corpse.

The Revenant is a story about Hugh Glass, a hunter who is left behind to death by his best friend in a biting cold forest. Glass strives to survive in order to come back for revenge. The Revenant was filmed with natural lights in an extremely cruel condition.

Leonardo DiCaprio is expected to earn his first-ever Oscar for The Revenant after losing 5 times before.
