The launch event, which was attended by Mr. Do Thanh Hai, the Deputy Director General of Vietnam Television, along with representatives from the production team and various partners, was held on the afternoon of March 16 in Hanoi. This program is the first television show in Vietnam to directly explore the real-life experiences of families looking to buy or rent homes with the help of professional experts. Participants will receive VND100 million (roughly USD 3,500) at the start of their home-hunting journey. The show is co-produced by RSM Agency and VTV3, with strategic partners Cen Land and BIDV Home.
According to data from the General Statistics Office, over the past three years, housing prices have increased three times faster than income growth, widening the gap between earnings and homeownership. Furthermore, since late October 2025, mortgage interest rates have risen significantly, placing additional financial pressure on buyers.
Alongside long-term financial planning, buyers need to consider factors such as legal status, location, living environment, and future family plans. Smart Home Hunt addresses these real-life challenges by providing a comprehensive overview of the process of buying or renting a home in a rapidly evolving real estate market.
