Lao Cai trade turnover reaches US$312mil

According to the Management Board of Lao Cai Economic Zone, the trade value since the beginning of the year has reached 7.8% of this year's goal.

Recently, Lao Cai province stepped up many measures to promote trade activities, especially now that the Covid-19 pandemic in China has been controlled.

Relevant forces at Lao Cai border gate have cooperated with the Chinese border gate forces to protect trucks that enter the border area and load the goods without having to change drivers like they used to. In addition, since the beginning of March, the border market has been open after a temporary closure due to Covid 19.

Lao Cai province is also drafting a plan on the construction of inland isolation points at factories or construction sites. The plan will be submitted to the Government.
