At the festival, there will be many interesting activities in Kin Chu Phin 2 village. The main activity is visiting pear gardens, spreading over 1,000m above sea level, of the Dao, Ha Nhi and Giay ethnic minorities, in the ripe pear picking season.
Visitors will have the opportunity to explore and enjoy the cultural identity of the indigenous peoples; visit the booth displaying OCOP products, Tai Nung pears and local agricultural products; experience the pear harvest and enjoy ripe pears in the garden.
This is a programme in the series of activities of the Bat Xat District Autumn Festival 2023; It is also an opportunity for farmers to meet consumers, businesses and scientists, thereby exchanging and exchanging products, learning experiences, building and developing OCOP products and Tai Nung-VH6 pears in the local area.
Bat Xat District currently has nearly 300 hectares of Tai Nung-VH6 pears, concentrated in the communes of Nam Pung, Y Ty, Pa Cheo, A Lu, and Den Sang, of which about 130 hectares are being harvested, with a total output of more than 1,000 tonnes of fruit.
