Landslide buries Thanh Hoa’s village

Heavy rain lasting four consecutive days buried local houses. Traffic is divided and the villages are completely isolated. It takes up to two days walking to the village, which is 40km away.

Also yesterday afternoon, a flashflood occurred on Highway 12, Phong Tho Town, Lai Chau Province, causing people panic and a temporary traffic jam.

Following those incidents, local functional agencies are focusing on overcoming the landslide’s consequences.
