Landslide assessment in Hoa Binh

In order to provide timely solutions to stabilize the lives of people the delegation of Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment conducted surveys to assess the landslide situation of some areas in Ky Son District and Hoa Binh city.

Landslides often occur because the river flows straight to the affected areas. The delegation has also made assessments of two other landslide sites in Chăm Mát Ward and Thái Bình Ward.

In these two areas, landslide susceptibility is high during the rainy season which is why warnings to households have been made.
