The province recently started promoting multi-province tours based on Quang Nam, Danang and Thua Thien Hue and Lam Dong, Can Tho and Kien Giang. It has also promoted links with Nghe An and Quang Binh.
The provinces will work together to construct interlocking tours and promotions of tourist sites. There will also be efforts to prioritise their businesses in carrying out tourism-related projects in each province, sharing of information and capacity-building training for employees in the tourist sector. The number of tourists visiting Lam Dong in 2015 increased significantly, with the province welcoming 5.4 million visitors, including 240,000 foreign tourists.
