Together with the use of traffic cameras, an application called ITS or Intelligent Transportation System is also being applied. ITS facilitates the city’s Department of Transportation to appropriately adjust traffic lights, particularly during rush hours. This has helped reduce traffic congestion in the city to a large extent. HCM City is planning to apply more technological solutions to control traffic in the coming time.
