The event was held synchronously at 2/4 Square in Nha Trang City and Truong Sa Town, Truong Sa Island District.
The performances at the event celebrated the country, the Communist Party of Vietnam, and President Ho Chi Minh, as well as the land and people of Khanh Hoa Province and the Truong Sa archipelago.
Speaking at the programme, Nguyen Khac Toan, Deputy Secretary of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, recalled the historical revolutionary traditions of the country over the past 95 years under the leadership of the Party.
He praised the efforts made by the provincial Party committee, authorities, and people to develop Khanh Hoa into a localities with high socio-economic growth rates; improve people’s livelihoods; and maintain national security and defence.
Through the connection from 2nd September Square to Truong Sa Town, leaders of Khanh Hoa Province interacted with officials, soldiers, and people of Truong Sa Town.
Meanwhile, Nguyen Tan Tuan, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, extended New Year wishes to all people and soldiers in Truong Sa who are working day and night to safeguard the island.
He expressed his hope that officials, soldiers, and people in Truong Sa will continue to promote their heroic traditions, unite and strive to overcome all difficulties and challenges, excellently complete assigned tasks, and build a stronger and more prosperous Truong Sa Island District.
For his part, Can Ngoc Son, Chairman of Truong Sa Town People's Committee, expressed his thanks for the care from all levels of authorities, military forces, and citizens across the country towards the island district over the past years.
