VTV.vn - According to the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), Vietnam's consumer market has a young population.

About 60% of the population is under 35 years of age and their incomes are increasing. This is an attractive destination for foreign investors as well as Japanese enterprises in the fields of consumer goods, food, and retail. The opening of supermarkets or convenience stores is an effective sales channel that helps Japanese enterprises reach Vietnamese consumers more efficiently.
