Japanese firms: More support needed in import procedures

According to Japanese businesses, one of the most urgent issues that needed to be resolved was the valuation of imported goods. Under Vietnamese regulations, all imported goods must go through valuation procedures. However, according to the businesses, they still have to follow other related procedures in determining the values of goods despite their declaration and tax payment. In response, HCM City's authorities committed themselves to doing their utmost to resolve the problems within their competence, while those going beyond will be passed on to higher-level authorities.
