Japan provides $2.5 billion ODA to Vietnam in 2015

VTV.vn - On the sidelines of the 27th ASEAN Summit, PM Nguyen Tan Dzung had a meeting with Japanese PM Shinzo Abe in the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur.

The two government leaders discussed directions for future cooperation and agreed to boost trade and investment activities between the 2 nations. PM Abe promised that Japan will continue to support Vietnam’s infrastructure and educational projects. Japan will provide another 172 billion Yen, bringing the total Japanese ODA fund for Vietnam to 300 billion Yen or 2.5 billion USD within 2015 alone.
