Vietnam has overtaken China to become the country with the most number of trainees working in Japan. Minister Dao Ngoc Dung stated that at present, Vietnam has more than 190,000 unemployed university graduates.
In the coming time, negotiations will be started between the two countries to help these graduates get a chance to work in Japan. The ministry will simplify procedures, making it easier for Japanese companies to hire workers in Vietnam.
In return, Japanese unions also asked Vietnam to improve education and training for these graduates, as well as offering them chances to work in fields which they have been trained for in Japan.
