VTV.vn - Vietnam will continue to receive preferential loans from Japan until 2030. This information was announced by JICA's Chief Representative in Vietnam recently.

Vietnam was classified as a country with a low average income level. Japan will continue to provide loans for Vietnam to build infrastructure via official development assistance (ODA), both financially and technically.

Japan will co-operate with the Vietnamese Government and prioritise infrastructure development, improving quality of life and enhancing national competitiveness.

Japan's ODA for Vietnam now has interest rates ranging from 0.1 to 1.4% per year, with a repayment period of 25-40 years.
