Japan and South Korea respond to North Korea’s missile

The first one flew approximately 430 kilometers while the second flew 690 kilometers. South Korea and Japan said that the two projectiles launched by North Korea posed a military threat, which risked undermining the peace process on the Korean Peninsula and called for calm actions from North Korea.

It also comes after anger from the North over planned military exercises between South Korea and the US. North Korea warned they could affect the resumption of denuclearization talks.
