The visit is part of the activities that had been discussed by the leaders of the two nations' Parties, States and defense ministries.
Its aim is to further deepen the bilateral defensive partnership. During their stay in Da Nang, the Japanese delegation will pay a courtesy visit to the authorities of the municipal People's Committee, the High Command of Military Region 5, the Coast Guard Region 2, and the navigation search and rescue center. A sporting event will also be held to increase mutual understanding between Vietnamese and Japanese soldiers and sailors.
