Regen Solution is a smartphone application developed by a Vietnamese start-up. The app is expected to connect people in need of blood to donors in Vietnam via Google maps and GPS.
Dang Van Phuc, Student, Hanoi Medical University said: In light of the lack of blood, especially rare blood types in hospitals in Vietnam, we developed this application so that people can access blood donations quickly and easily.
Regen Solution is just one of many start-ups participating in the International Start-up Meeting 2016. What sets this event apart is the opportunity for start-ups to speak directly to angel investors. Over 20 investors and start-up experts participated in the event. Hajime Hotta is one of them. Until now, he already invested in 6 Vietnam-based start-ups.
6 Vietnamese start-ups pitched ideas at the International Start-up meeting 2016. The winners will come to Korea to participate in the K-Startup Grand Challenge 2016, with the chance to win a financial package worth 100,000 USD.
