Centered around the theme “ 710th Anniversary of Thuan Hoa- Phu Xuan- Thua Thien Hue; Cultural Heritage with Integration and Development”, the Grand Opening Ceremony of Hue festival 2016 took place in Ngo Mon square on April 29th. The event offered a chance for exchanges among art troupes and artists from 17 countries. Together they have transformed Ngo Mon square into a global stage. This helped promote the image of Hue to the world.
Performances of fusion genres from different countries around the world has demonstrated the best the spirit of this year’s theme: Cultural heritage with Integration and Development”.
