These are the requests of Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh at a conference mapping out duties for the inspectorate sector in 2017.
The deputy prime minister also asked the sector to focus on inspecting land use conversion from defence and security usage to other purposes, especially in cities such as Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City; inspecting financial institutions with high bad debt ratios and institutions at risk of capital and property loss.
According to reports at the event, the inspectorate sector conducted over 250 thousand administrative and specialised inspections in 2016, and proposed to seize 38 trillion VND or 1.68 billion USD and nearly 1,300 hectares of land due to economic violations.
