The event attracted around 150 South Korean businesses. Provincial representatives used the event as an opportunity to introduce its potential in processing, trade and agro-forestry-mineral exports, renewable energy and tourism. The province also pledged to create optimal conditions for foreign investors.
At the conference, Yen Bai People's Committee signed a memorandum of understanding with Korean firms, including with the Solkiss Company to build a 970 million USD 500MW renewable energy plant in the province.
