VTV.vn - According to the latest report of the World Trade Organization (WTO), in the last six months, the world's largest economies have applied import restrictions on nearly 500 billion dollars worth of goods.

This is the largest number the WTO has recorded since 2012 when it began monitoring the impact of import restrictions around the world. Between May and mid-October, 40 new import restrictions were issued by G20 member countries.

WTO General Director Roberto Azevedo warns that if this situation continues, the economic risks will increase, potentially affecting growth, employment, and consumer prices worldwide.
