Since early morning, 100 couples began gathering at the headquarters of the HCM City Youth Union to prepare for the wedding. Later they joined a wedding procession by cyclo through main streets like Pham Ngoc Thach, Le Duan, Dong Khoi, Ton Duc Thang and Nguyen Hue.
The mass wedding took place at a park on Nguyen Hue Street, but the main rituals were held at the Queen Plaza in District 1. The newlyweds were provided with free banquets and many practical gifts to begin their new life.
