Tourism has brought the city a total turnover of about 100 million USD, an increase of 3.31% year on year. More notably, the number of tourists that travelled to the city via seaway reached over 790 thousand visitors. In September, the Voyager of the Sea arrived at Chan May port, carrying over 2000 visitors and 1300 crew members. The ship is the third world’s largest 5-star cruise that has arrived at Chan May port for the second time this year. The city expects to welcome more visitors in the coming time as various efforts are being made to improve infrastructure as well as accommodation facilities for tourists.
