The program began with little Hieu Minh complaining about having to eat rice every day. He expressed his desire to eat pho, fried chicken, pizza, and more, but his parents did not agree so Thanh Mai asked him: "Do you know how hard our parents work to cook meals for us? We still have it easy. The farmers work tirelessly to produce each grain of rice for us".
Seeing that Hieu Minh was still upset, Thanh Mai invited him to spend a day planting rice . They both went to listen to the song "Đi cấy" performed by Thuc Trang and Pham Vinh.
After listening to the entire song, Hieu Minh understood the hardships and struggles that farmers go through when growing rice. "Rice grains are like precious pearls; we must cherish them", Hieu Minh told Mai. The lesson for the children today is to appreciate what they have, cherish every grain of rice, and never skip a meal!
