Ho Chi Minh City targets $33.7 billion in revenues
VTv.vn - Ho Chi Minh City expects budget revenues of around 33.7 billion US dollars this year, exceeding the government’s target.

In the first eight months, budget revenues reached 24 billion US dollars, up 119.7% from a year earlier.

The city's economy expanded by 8.55% in the first half of this year, while registered foreign direct investment topped 10 billion dollars, equivalent to 91.5% of the annual target. Disbursement of public investment reached 57.7% of the plan and above the national average.

From 2026 to 2030, the city plans to earmark 4.32 billion US dollars for 37 major transport projects. It has also cut the number of projects by 42% to focus resources, while new public-private partnership projects are expected to attract 30.3 billion US dollars in private funding.
