VTV.vn - A delegation of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee, offered incense and flowers to revolutionary heroes and fallen soldiers.

The delegation, led by Politburo member and Secretary of the municipal Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen, expressed their deep gratitude to heroic Vietnamese mothers, heroes and fallen soldiers, who sacrificed their lives for national independence and freedom.

They then visited the municipal cemetery in Thu Duc City, to pay tribute to late leaders and revolutionary veterans, who made significant contributions to the national construction and defence.

At the Ho Chi Minh Museum, the delegates offered incense and flowers to President Ho Chi Minh and observed a minute of silence to commemorate the nation’s founder.

They also paid homage to President Ton Duc Thang at his memorial site on Nguyen Tat Thanh Street, in District 4.

The same day, the delegation offered incense and offerings to fallen soldiers at the Ben Duoc Martyrs Memorial, in Cu Chi District.
