Ho Chi Minh Cirty to open more book streets

The project's funding will come from private investors and is expected to begin in early 2018.

The new book street will be built with 20 bookstores with the total construction cost of about 617,000 USD. The project will also feature coffee shops and smart toilets.

In addition, Ho Chi Minh City is also planning to open 3 more book streets in districts such as Go Vap, District 5, and Phu Nhuan. The city's first book street on Nguyễn Văn Bình welcomed over 2.4 million visitors in 2017.
