High-tech irrigation included in agriculture reform

According to research by specialized agencies, with high-tech irrigation, crops such as coffee, pepper, dragon fruit, and sugarcane will enjoy an increase in productivity from 10-40%, in income from 20-50%, and a decrease in water usage by 40%.

To achieve these goals, the Ministry has sketched out several solutions. These include water resources planning, the introduction of new irrigation methods, and international cooperation in irrigation technologies, among others.
