Heritage Journey: return to ancient farmland in spring

VTV.vn - The "Digital Heritage Journey" program broadcast on the occasion of Lunar New Year will take the audience to the land of Tam Nong, Phu Tho.

The atmosphere of the Spring Festival is permeating the whole country. Spring is also the time when everyone returns to their roots, in search of the good traditional values of the homeland.

Heritage Journey program will take the audience to discover the heritage features in Tam Nong district, a land with many cultural sediments and the oldest folk tales in Phu Tho province, and learn about the historical relics of thousands of years to love more cultural values that endure with time.

Tam Nong is a district in Phu Tho province, located in the triangle of 3 rivers: Red River, Da River and Bua River.

As a district with many ancient Vietnamese villages associated with the era of Hung kings, it is an ancient cultural address that has been kept for thousands of years, with land and village names passed down since the founding of the country, where special folklore and traditional festivals are still preserved. Tam Nong today still retains many traces of national origin. Each historical period leaves Tam Nong with valuable cultural heritages. It currently has 90 historical and cultural relics of which 12 are national monuments.

In this Heritage Journey program, the audience will discover unique folk villages: Van Lang Laughing Village and Nam Cuong Teasing Village, Hung Hoa Citadel Flagpole Revolutionary Historic Relic and handicraft villages, and at the same time experience rituals such as procession, veneration, incense offering and folk games.

These are the activities that have united people for many generations and have become a cultural beauty ingrained in people's subconscious every Tet and spring.
