On November 17 night, the live television program In Gratitude with the theme “Hope” was broadcast in celebration of Vietnam Teachers' Day on November 20. Six stories moved viewers, each offering unique inspiration and featuring different individuals, yet all sharing the common theme of celebrating the values and contributions of teachers to education and society.
Among these was the deeply touching story of teacher Nguyen Thi Dung and teacher Nguyen Quang Tho, who traveled dozens of kilometers daily to reach a special classroom. This classroom, located in a community cultural center, serves students from ethnic minority groups, ranging from young adults in their 20s to older learners who are already grandparents.
The special class, “Hope”, has been led by teacher Nguyen Quang Tho as the homeroom teacher for six consecutive months.

Or the story of teacher Ha Ngoc Dao, who always remembers the teacher who supported and helped him during the difficult years of the war. At the same time, the deep affection that teacher Nguyen Quoc Thai had for students from the South who came to study in the North also left a lasting emotional impact.
Teacher Ha Ngoc Dao could not hide his emotions as he reminisced about the teachers who had supported him.

Not to be forgotten is teacher Vu Van Tung, who gets up every morning at the crack of dawn and travels 80 km to bring 200 loaves of bread to children in disadvantaged areas. His dedication gives these children the motivation to stay in school and the hopeto change their lives.
The vehicle carrying the beloved loaves of bread, priced at 0 VND, travels daily along the familiar road.

Another image is that of Professor Dr. Tran Danh Cuong, a teacher deeply respected by generations of students at Hanoi Medical University. Few people know that, after more than 30 years of dedicated teaching, his success is also a culmination of the great values passed down by the generations of teachers who came before him.

Furthermore, there is a continuous effort to innovate teaching methods, as well as the empathy and sharing of teachers who bring hope and the light of knowledge to the children, who are the country’s future.
Although the special class does not meet the teacher in person, it still provides countless valuable lessons.
