Hanoi welcomes first international visitors in 2018

A welcoming ceremony took place at the Noi Bai International Airport, with the presence of representatives from the Hanoi People’s Committee, the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, Hanoi’s Department of Tourism, as well as the Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam and a number of international organizations. The first flight landed in Noi Bai airport at 6 am this morning. The VN18 Vietnam Airlines flight came from Paris, France. In 2017, Hanoi welcomed 24 million arrivals, up 9% compared to 2016 with international arrivals up 23%. The capital city targets a total of 25.4 million arrivals this year.
