Hanoi University of Industry has extensive experience of participating in the Vietnam Robocon competition and a strong track record of national and international achievements. The university not only invests in technical infrastructure but also places great emphasis on a rigorous and competitive internal selection process.
The typical academic environment at the university has recently been energized by one of the year’s most highly anticipated events: the internal qualifying round for Robocon 2025. This critical stage is designed to select the five best teams to represent the university at the national competition.
Ten outstanding teams entered an intense competition this year to secure the coveted “golden ticket” for Robocon 2025. In the brief moments leading up to the matches, teams worked swiftly to test and fine-tune their robots, completing their final preparations.
Robocon is more than a hands-on activity; it is where academic knowledge meets real-world application. Students must work together as a team, analyze scenarios, and respond to challenges as if they were managing an actual engineering production line, one where even the slightest error can impact the entire outcome.
The university’s selection round adhered closely the ABU Robocon 2025 rules, requiring robots to perform with high precision, speed, and maximum stability. Teams had to optimize control strategies and demonstrate their strong programming and mechanical design skills.
Each successful scoring move was a testament not only to technological prowess but also to the seamless integration of logical thinking and teamwork. In this arena, the competition is not only between robots but also within team members as they face time constraints and unexpected challenges.
After a series of thrilling matches, five official teams were chosen to advance to the national Robocon 2025 round. While the university’s internal competition has ended, these teams' real journey to Robocon 2025 has only just begun.
Produced by the Department of Thematic and Educational Programs at Vietnam Television (VTV), The Journey to Robocon 2025 provides viewers with the latest updates on preparation efforts from universities and colleges nationwide. The series also addresses questions about the competition’s theme and rules while sharing inspiring stories of former Robocon participants who have gone on to be successful members of society.
The program airs daily at 8:30 PM on VTV2 from May 27 to June 7, 2025.
