Under the name RSL Productions, InTheBox recently marked 35 years of establishing these prestigious recording studios in Europe. To continue its musical journey, BOX ENTERTAINMENT, a division of InTheBox, officially launched in Vietnam as an international music label, building on that brilliant legacy.
With a strong international network and a professional working environment — notably a recording studio equipped with the legendary SSL 9080 J mixing desk — BOX ENTERTAINMENT is not only a place for creating music but also a destination for international musicians and producers to connect and collaborate with Asian talents. This iconic mixing console was once the heart of Hit Factory Studio 3, a renowned studio in New York where music icons such as Michael Jackson, Celine Dion, Mariah Carey, Beyoncé, Lady Gaga and many others produced hit records that gained worldwide fame.
Currently, Box Entertainment’s studio in Vietnam is currently the only one in Asia — and among the very few in the world — to own this renowned piece of equipment. With only 50 units produced globally, the SSL 9000 J is not just an ordinary mixing console, but a true icon in the music production industry. This represents a significant step forward, positioning Vietnam on the global music map and affirming its capacity to meet the highest possible international standards for music production, thereby contributing to elevating Vietnam’s music industry.
The studio is expected to officially start operations in July 2025. Alongside that, ZOE – an exclusive artist of Box Entertainment – will also be released next month, becoming the first Asian female artist to sign a contract with a European music label. Artist development will also be one of the main areas of focus for Box Entertainment, aiming to elevate Vietnamese talents onto the global music map.
