VTV.vn - Hanoi shuts down indoor restaurants, cafes and barbershops starting Tuesday amid a rising coronavirus threat, only three weeks after resuming these services.

Takeaway orders will still be allowed. Mandatory coronavirus control measures, including medical declarations and 14-day self-isolation, will be applied to anyone who returns to Hanoi from Ho Chi Minh City and other coronavirus hotspots.

During the meeting of the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control that took place on Monday afternoon, it was decided that anyone from these areas who wishes to enter the capital must have papers proving they tested negative for the coronavirus within three days before entry.

Since last week, Hanoi has recorded at least 60 new coronavirus infections from multiple clusters, ending its previous nine-day streak of no community transmissions.
