Hanoi sets up heat prevention spots

VTV.vn - In response to severe hot weather in Hanoi, local authorities have set up 2 places on 548 Trần Cung street and 527 Phạm Văn Đồng street to help local laborers get relief from the sun.

At both these destinations, local laborers and street vendors can enjoy the cool air from air conditioners, drink fresh water and have a mid-day nap. Volunteers and medical staff are always available for consultation at each location for measures to prevent the effects of heat and what to do in case of heatstroke.
