This week's episode of Road to Olympia Mount featured four contestants: Le Minh Hoang (Huynh Thuc Khang High School - Nghe An), Le Viet Duc (Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted - Gia Lai), Nguyen Thi Ngoc Tam (Yen Phong No.1 High School - Bac Ninh), and Luong Minh Anh (Vinschool - Hanoi).
In the Individual Warm-Up round, Minh Hoang, Viet Duc, and Minh Anh each scored 40 points, a very rare occurrence in the history of Road to Olympia Mount. During the General Warm-Up segment, Minh Hoang moved into first place with 75 points, followed by Ngoc Tam with 60. Minh Anh trailed the field with 35 points.
In the Overcome Obstacle round, contestants identified an eight-letter keyword. Minh Anh selected the first horizontal clue, allowing all four contestants to earn points. After only one clue had been revealed, Viet Duc rang the bell with an answer. Minh Hoang followed immediately afterward. Surprisingly, both contestants gave the same answer: “Moon” (Mat Trang). With this correct response, Viet Duc surged into the lead with 110 points, while Minh Anh remained in last place with 45 points.
The Speed-Up round, a crucial opportunity to gain points, required both accuracy and quick reflexes. All four contestants entered the round determined to improve their standings. After four questions, Viet Duc maintained his strong performance and remained in first place with 230 points. Minh Hoang followed with 175 points, Minh Anh with 165 points, and Ngoc Tam with 120.
As the leader, Viet Duc was the first contestant to enter the Finish round. He chose a package of three 20-point questions. He answered two of the three questions correctly, but his score did not improve. Meanwhile, Minh Anh and Minh Hoang each added 20 points to their totals by successfully answering bonus questions.
Minh Hoang was next, selecting a 20-20-30 point package. After answering one question correctly, he had an opportunity to take the lead. However, he missed the 30-point question, allowing Ngoc Tam to snatch those points and left Minh Hoang with a final score of 185.
Minh Anh then entered the Finish round with three 20-point questions. She answered the first question correctly but lost points on the second to Viet Duc, helping him strengthen his lead. For her final question, she activated the Star of Hope and answered correctly, earning 40 points and closing the gap on the leader.
Finally, Ngoc Tam selected a 20-30-20 point package. During her round, Minh Anh successfully answered a 30-point bonus question, dramatically overtaking the field and securing victory in front of an ecstatic audience. Viet Duc was visibly disappointed after narrowly missing out on the championship, despite having led for most of the contest.
