Smart cities are one manifestation of the 4th Industrial Revolution. However, according to experts, cities in Vietnam today still lack data interconnectivity between departments to be able to implement this project effectively.
Statistics from the International Telecommunication Union also shows that in 2016, Vietnam ranked 105 out of 175 countries in the IT development index, down one level compared to 2015.
