In the 12-day course, the participants, including 27 trainees and four class managers, have a chance to study and exchange knowledge, skills, and experiences in building the Party and maintaining a strong and transparent political system.
They will be engaged in discussions with 10 specialised lectures, five on Hanoi’s practical experience, and the remaining on leadership and management skills.
According to the curriculum, in the mornings, the trainees study in classrooms, while in the afternoons, they conduct field trips to eight localities and units, which are known for their effective models, innovative approaches, and exemplary practices in the capital city.
In her opening remarks, Nguyen Thi Tuyen, member of the Party Central Committee and Permanent Deputy Secretary of the municipal Party Committee, said that during the Hanoi delegation’s working visit to Vientiane on March 11-12, the two sides signed eight memoranda of understanding on bilateral cooperation in the political, economic, and socio-cultural aspects.
As a result, on April 9, the Hanoi Party Committee’s Standing Board issued a plan on organising two courses on Party and administration works for Vientiane officials.
Given the importance of the courses, the Party Committee has made thorough preparations and invited experienced city leaders and reputable experts and scientists to join the courses.
